About the event

Patterns of Portugal Book Launch Party

Saturday July 6, 2024 4pm-7pm

Flora Bae Home is excited to welcome author and photographer, and native Michigander, Christine Chitnis, for the Northern Michigan launch of her new book, Patterns of Portugal. As Portugal's popularity with tourists soars, her book will inspire you to start planning your own travels with its beautiful photography and captivating writing. We will also be featuring other woman-owned small businesses, all inspired by the textures and colors of Portugal, and all specially curated by Natalie Bae Lauzon of Flora Bae Home.

Event Highlights

Hand decorated Portuguese inspired sugar cookies baked and designed by Michigan baker and artist Allyson Paige of Dane Lady Bakery.

Jackie Garrett of Vilah Bloom will also be popping up here at Flora Bae Home with one of her patterns of Portugal inspired bags from her 2024 Summer collection.

We will also have a limited quantity of Patterns of Portugal inspired,  hand painted,  deer antlers painted by owner of Flora Bae Home Natalie Bae Lauzon.

Ashley Meyers of NYC will be designing Patterns of Portugal inspired, hand painted taper candles. These candles are one of a kind, custom designed, unique and stunning!

We are also excited to debut our new line of hand stitched and beaded brooches, by Trovelore.  They are miniature pieces of art!

We have a very special brooch that we ordered especially for this event. Did someone say sardines?

PLEASE RSVP SO THAT WE CAN PLAN ACCORDINGLY FOR SIPS AND SNACKS
